Thursday 2/18, 7-8PM, MIT 6-104 (Chipman Room) [Map]

More than 3,000 MIT students, staff, faculty and alumni have signed Fossil Free MIT’s petition calling on MIT to divest its $12 billion endowment from the fossil fuel industry. That number includes 40% of the class of 2017 and 30% of all undergraduates.

With divestment taking a prominent place in the MIT Conversation on Climate Change this semester, and a decision expected this summer, we need all hands on deck to take our campaign to the next level. Now is our chance to make climate change history!

Come find out more about Fossil Free MIT’s efforts to combat climate change and learn about all of the many opportunities to get involved. Join us at 7pm, grab some free food, and find out more about Fossil Free MIT’s fossil fuel divestment campaign and other climate action initiatives. FFMIT members will be on hand to talk about the group, explain how you can get involved, and listen to your ideas (and did we mention there will be free food?).

Hope to see you there!
