2016.02.17 – Spring Kickoff Open House!

As our sit-in for MIT climate action passes Day 100, Fossil Free MIT will be having our Spring Semester Kick-Off Open House on February 17th!

Fossil Free MIT Spring Kickoff Open House
Wed 2/17 from 6-8p in 10-105 (Bush Room)
Free Thai food – stop by anytime!

Come learn more about our record-breaking #ScientistsSitIn and ongoing negotiations with the administration, get to know some of the sit-in crew and other members of the community who believe in bold climate action, and find out how to get involved! The event is an open house, so drop by anytime!

Additionally, we are happy to have an interactive art project led by Eirik Jarl Trondsen at the Kickoff. Join to articulate your dreams for the future of Climate Change Activism at MIT and beyond.

If you can’t make the kick-off but want to get involved, you can:

  • Join the sit-in! Get in touch with us (fossilfree@mit.ued) to sit-in regularly, or just show up anytime and sit with us! We are located outside President Reif’s Office, (3-208).
  • Get to know others in FFMIT or ask about happenings in the group at Fossil Free Friday casual lunches! Fridays at noon at the sit-in. Free food provided!
  • Come along to any of our weekly meetings, which are on Wednesdays at 6pm in 13-3038. You’re always welcome!

Hope to see you soon!
